 At PeaceHealth Southwest, every day we are investigating medicines, technology and techniques to find a cure for cancer. We believe that clinical trials offer cutting edge treatments for cancer prevention, treatment, and cure, so we maintain access to clinical trials from major research bases all over the US, Canada, and internationally.
By collecting data about cancer patients researchers learn about the causes of cancer. Our Cancer Registry team also helps identify local trends, which may lead to identifying areas for additional research and developing more effective patient care.
Each year, we produce an annual report for the Regional Cancer Center. While it consistently provides accurate facts and figures about PeaceHealth Southwest’s work, we believe it also expresses who we are, what we do, and why we focus so intently on our patients fight with cancer.
