APPLICATION INFORMATION
SELECTION PROCESS AND INSTRUCTIONS
All first year residency applicants are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). The Selection Committee considers qualified applicants who complete all aspects of the application process as outlined:
- ERAS Applications only submitted from September 1 - October 31.
- Although we do not have a minimum score requirement, we are very competitive and most applicants interviewed score 200 or higher. Those with lower scores will be considered with outstanding Dean's Letter and Letters of Recommendation.
- Two Failures in USMLE Steps I, II or CS Exam OR greater than 4 failures combined in these exams will not be considered.
- Three Letters of Recommendation from Physicians. Two of those letters from Family Physicians.
- IMG's with more than 3-years post medical school/residency graduation will not be considered.
- IMG's must have at least 1-clinical rotation within a U.S. academic medical setting (i.e.: Medical School or Residency training program) with accompanying letters of recommendation.
- Oral and Written English Language proficiency required.
- We are unable to sponsor any Visas.
- We accept only applications through ERAS. See your medical school for complete application process.
