Bariatric (Weight Loss) Surgery
Find surgeons specializing in Bariatric Surgery
In a joint partnership with PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, we offer exceptional, multidisciplinary approaches to treat life-threatening obesity. The Center for Weight Management offers weight-loss (bariatric) surgery, for men and women who are at least 100 pounds overweight, suffer from related health conditions and have unsuccessfully tried other weight-loss methods.
The surgical team specializes in laparoscopic surgery, which involves smaller incisions, less pain and faster recovery times for patients. Our partnership with PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center provides extended behavioral and nutritional services to help you move forward with your life after surgery. The ongoing support and education allows you to make the most of your life as you continue to manage your weight.
In addition to our surgical team, we provide an experienced surgical nursing staff, including a dedicated psychosocial nurse therapist and group leader. Individual support is available in our offices, by phone and over the internet.
Our staff provides regular monthly support groups for those interested in bariatric surgery, those who have successfully completed the surgery and for those needing help getting back on track. Therapists are also available through referral, and a select group of individual professionals can assist you if needed.
