... Nurse Navigator

Southwest's nurse navigators are registered nurses specializing in cancer care (oncology). Like compasses that provide direction, nurse navigators want to be trusted guides for you and your loved ones throughout your journey with cancer. The Kearney Breast Center's nurse navigator, Sandra Kienitz, RN, CBPN-C, can help coordinate your care with surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, clinical trials, lymphedema care, breast reconstruction, and other cancer treatment.

Breast Reconstructive Surgeons Breast reconstruction after mastectomy is considered part of the treatment of breast cancer.  The goal of breast reconstruction is to restore the breast to near-normal shape, appearance and size. Southwest Medical Group Plastic Surgery works closely with Kearney Breast Center patients to determine what will help them look and feel their best.
