Childlife is a training program for those who provide childcare, including parents, teachers, babysitters or daycare personnel. This class is approved by the Washington DSHS for daycare and foster care licensing.
The CPR portion of the class covers infant, child and adult, along with AED use in children and adults. Certification is through the American Heart Association and is valid for two years. Classes fill quickly.
DAY ONE class time is 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and covers First Aid.
DAY TWO class time is 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and covers CPR.
PHSW also offers a class for new parents who need basic CPR skills and do not require a certification. Please refer to the CPR for Friends and Family Classes. The Friends and Family Classes would not be valid for Foster Care or Daycare Licensing.
