Allen Gabriel, MD, and his wife Cassie Gabriel, MD, co-founders of the Pink Lemonade Project, worked with the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation to establish the Pink Lemonade Fund. Money raised helps subsidize the cost of multi-day educational retreats for women who’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. Many of the women involved in the program are past patients of PeaceHealth Medical Group reconstructive surgeon Allen Gabriel, MD, and general surgeon, Toni Storm-Dickerson, MD, FACS.

The cocktail hour was abuzz with people from all different areas, including patients from Dr. Gabriel’s office, participants of Pink Lemonade retreats, and supporters of Pink Lemonade. The delicious appetizers fed the guests while they visited and learned about each other and the organization.

Guests were invited to join personal shoppers provided by Nordstrom to help complete their shopping list or perhaps create one! Pink Lemonade looks forward to making this an annual event. With next year being even bigger and continuing to keep the spirit of giving alive while shopping to benefit hope and healing for breast cancer patients.

Pink Lemonade’s mission is to provide breast cancer patients and their families with education and support opportunities that offer hope and healing for the mind, body and spirit. Through funds raised, they provide retreats, educational programs and support of breast cancer patients.
