The Pacific Northwest is a paradise for hikers and mountain climbers; clammers, crabbers and fishermen; white water rafters; wind-surfers; and skiers (water, cross country and downhill). In any direction the scenery is eye catching. Snow capped mountains; evergreen forests sprinkled with deciduous trees, wildflowers, and ferns; rocky shores of the Pacific and coastal mountains; and the majestic Columbia River Gorge bring awe, wonder and balm to the spirit.
Oregon and Washington feature some outstanding wineries including local ones here in Clark County. There is also fantastic shopping, schools, neighborhoods and more.
The Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area is considered one of the "most livable" in the country. Vancouver provides an excellent and convenient suburban environment with close proximity to Portland, Oregon, known for its casual and comfortable urban style. Cultural activities, the Arts, and Music are abundant. We are also located within easy driving distance of some of the Northwest's most scenic recreational areas. Stroll along the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean while admiring the rocky shoreline of the Oregon coast. Windsurf in the Columbia River Gorge, ski Mt. Hood, or cycle around the base Mt. St. Helens. Enjoy the vineyards of the Yamhill and Willamette Valley wineries, or go for a relaxing hike on one of many trails etched into the lush, green countryside. Because of our moderate climate, there is plenty to experience and truly enjoy through all four seasons of the year.
